Pensons Restaurant - CheF DE PARTIE

We are currently on the lookout for a chef de partie to join our young and dynamic team. We are seeking passionate and hard working individuals, who enjoy being part of a small team, helping to build this exciting new restaurant’s reputation. 

The Chef de Partie will run his own section and get to learn from the highly experienced Head Chef, Lee Westcott.

 You will be have all day on Mondays and Tuesdays off, as well as Sunday evenings as we believe in a good work/life balance. We also close for 2 weeks over the summer period and 2 weeks at Christmas and New Year. 

The restaurant is committed to using seasonal, local ingredients. An increasing amount of our produce is from the restaurants garden. So an interest in this would be a great advantage. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Preparing, cooking and maintain a section 

  • Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you

  • Helping the head chef and sous chef to develop new dishes and menus

  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Up to £24,000pa depending on experience
