At the Netherwood Estate




Pensons restaurant is Lee Westcott’s new restaurant on the beautiful Netherwood Estate on the Herefordshire-Worcestershire border that encapsulates Lee's love and respect for quality, seasonal, local produce.

Over the last twelve months, Pensons has been transformed from a range of derelict farm-buildings into a fantastic re-imagined space that retains all the heritage of its past combined, with the new and contemporary. The perfect venue for Lee's modern and imaginative, yet unpretentious cooking.

Pensons provides Lee and his team with the opportunity to farm, forage and grow some of the ingredients from the Estate, as well as showcasing the amazing produce from the local area, bringing to life his ethos of eating locally, seasonally and sustainably.



With its own kitchen garden, bee hives, animals, game and endless foraging opportunities in the woods, we will source any increasing amount of produce  from the Estate, as well as other carefully selected local suppliers.  Lee is very excited about the provenance and quality of the ingredients he will be using to create menus that are seasonal, local and sustainable, treating fresh produce with the respect it deserves.   This will truly encapsulate Lee's sourcing ethos to life -  Estate to plate.
